Bitchin' grindcore from the Bay Area that is sadly now defunct.
They should have been bigger than they are, but I have a sneaking suspicion these guys really didn't give a fuck about self-promotion, etc.
I'm sure if they were on Relapse they would be where Pig Destroyer is these days.
Here's their first EP and some extra stuff they added for this CD release from the sorely-missed Howling Bull America label.
(Some members are now in a X-tian grindcore band called "Tortured Conscience".
Never heard them, or heard of them for that matter. I am interested in hearing it though I myself am not a believer in goD).
Some solid grindy-death stuff that is Hungarian in origin.
Wish I could tell you more about these guys, but there ain't a whole lot of info on them that I could find.
I will tell you that - like most everything else you find here - it fucking kicks some ass in the brutality department...

Every now and then when I'm rummaging through my music collection I come across stuff that I have no clue as to when I got it, let alone even knowing what it sounds like - does this ever happen to you? Anyways, I was just checking this out, and the best I can tell is that it is Belgian in origin and is a fucking crazy mix of technical death-grind-thrash. Really interesting/chunky riffage, complete with some seriously off-kilter time changes that totally work without coming off like that spastic art-noise-grind (fake) shit that seems to be popular with the kids nowadays.
If anyone has a rip of their latest record "Telesis", send it my way please.

Absolutely stellar Swedish Grindcore compilation from 2002 that showcases Nasum, Sayyadina, Assel, Sewn Shut, Birdflesh, Asterisk, Regurgitate, Gadget & Arsedestroyer - (some of those names are quite familiar around here).
This is one of those "you can't miss with this one" kind of compilations; one that you don't see around much so jump on it!

I just want to thank everyone for the encouraging comments and New Years' good wishes.While I may have recovered most of my files, no software is 100% reliable & it seems as though many of my MP3s are corrupted or lost.
Still, I am pretty stoked that I didn't lose my whole collection.
I should be back on track (postwise) from here on out, while at the same time I'll be refining my library / repairing it / finding new gems, etc.
Also, I'd like to thank everyone for sticking around during this last month of mechanical setbacks - your words of encouragement have given me the inspiration to carry on with this blog.
