THE STATE OF IT ALL...

I realize it's been awhile since I last posted, but I just got a new computer, been working OT all this past week, & on top of it all I've been mulling over thoughts of putting the L-R V to bed for good, but w/ all the great comments lately, I just can't do it - I've put too much into it just to hit the delete button…

I am contemplating another design change SOON, so while the updates may be slow for a bit, I'm not gone, just recharging for the latest campaign - L-R V: Year III.

Thanks for your patronage & patience (as always).

Still haven't DL'd anything since, but stopping in at least 2x weekly, often to hop over to D.U.Railroad. Just figured I'd take a moment to say so. Rock on. (Dig the new configuration too)

  5. I've been guiltily neglecting your cool blog for a while (distracted by things and people). It's time to mend.
I was at risk to find the end of it! I'm glad you changed idea. Keep up with the monster work!

  6. Thanks for the kind words, Mari, it means alot coming from you.
I guess it was just time to re-evaluate; I've had it going for a while now, and I felt like i wasn't "feeling it" so much for a bit - it was getting cumbersome to post - all my posts I am proud of, but I was just getting to the point where I had to think about posting, worrying about posting, etc. and when you neglect it, the folks & conversations go away & then the fun factor is gone.

    I feel refreshed now...

  7. Yeah, I can understand what you mean. If doing an activity doesn't give you some fun and make you feel either forced or uneasy or worried, bad news. I find that the fun factor is basic even for a job, any job (= activity occupying so many hours a day every week every month), and not only for leisure activities. I think one should try hard and find a source of fun in anything one has to do. Sometimes making things as well as possible can make you feel ok, and that feeling may come, let's say, close to "fun". But then there is also the interaction with people which is part of the fun.
So I perfectly understand your request of minimal communication with the blog visitors. And I can't really see how this can be called "searching for glory" or things like that ...
Anyway, glad you entered your third year and I'm looking forwards to three more years minimum of killer stuff ...

  8. Mari My Dear - You keep a full plate most of the time as far as blogging goes, so yes - you know exactly what I'm saying, if not better than myself ;)

Thanks for always stopping by and for having some seriously great taste in music yourself...
