Here's a record I NEVER get sick of.
Perfect for getting amped up for a morning drive through serious gridlock or for chilling the fuck out at the end of the day, it's The Accused very hard-to-find 1987 release "More Fun Than An Open Casket Funeral".
Splatter Rock still rules!

ReplyDeleteSick shit man
ReplyDeleteI had heard of this band last year from some cool japanese guy who was in the Jap hardcore scene(s.o.b. Gauze) of the early 80's. I dont really get into many Thrash metal band as much as Hardcore Punk/Thrash bands, only music-wise (vocals get annoying and too much butt metal stuff), but D.R.I, Suicidal, Heresy, that shit I really dig. I heard Accused's Martha Splatterhead and Please Pardon Our Noise with the first singer, the first blew me the fuk away, Gnarly ass fuk with sick lyrics.felt like when i first heard SxOxBx
Anyways thanks for the download
& cool pick of Ramirez
anyways
A band the I always think of when Seattle is mentioned. They really were ahead of their time, with some really thoughtful lyrics. I had not heard this in 20 years, I played it and it brought me right back to HS when I remember getting home for Record Convergence and peeling the shrink wrap off and getting a whiff of the new vinyl odor, and playing it loud in my room for the first time.
