Saw Die Kreuzen open up for Butthole Surfers in '91. when i bought my ticket, the guy at the record counter was all out about this band, i remember when i saw them live i wasn't that impressed. Maybe i was in the Surfer zone back then.
Damn!! I think this one broke. I was able to pull it up yesterday and it went halfway before my drive had a spam melt down. Can anybody tell what all the hub bub is about their tunes being deleted everywhere? Last time I checked their catalogue had gone out of print apart from the last CD.
I bought the maximum rnr peace/war comp and a die kreuzen record as my entre into fast music. Before that, I was winning prince mirrors at the state fair by popping balloons with darts. The peace/war comp still holds up (endless blockades for the pussyfooters by GISM). I still like the first 6 prince records, though.
Thanks for posting!
