NAPALM DEATH.

I've been listing to Napalm Death all day - and while I can't pick a favorite era, this record has been speaking to me a bit more than the rest have as of late - I go through different phases with this band (probably you do too)?

Jesse Pintado is sorely missed - one of my favorite guitar players for sure - and on this LP he brought a bit of that (classic-as-fuck) Terrorizer relentlessness to the table - this is pure Napalm though, no doubt about it.

The beginning of a great era for these guys, and honestly I hope they never go away…

Another favorite that has been on my "drive to work" rotation for some time now, the U.K.'s Scalplock plays a dicey version of political crust-violence that calms the savage beast within me at my 7am drive time...

Ahhhhhhh...
Nothing quite like some good 'ol Ukrainian-style black metal to finish off the day, so here we go with Drudkh who grace us with 2 great tracks - which encompass the Anti-Urban 10" EP recently released in an edition of only 999 copies.

Regardless of what these guys might subscribe to politically, they are prolific in their output (these dudes have like three or five other "just as rad/gnarly" bands) and even more importantly, they create their own niche in a genre that has become quite trendy and narrow-minded...
