GRIDE.

Wow, I find it hard to believe no one gave a fuck about the last post.
That record has to be one of the greatest "ringtone" records ever conceived!

I'll forgive you for not a single comment left (good or bad) on that one, and in return, I'm gonna shatter your day w/ some nut-kicking Czech Republic power-grind(lence) from Gride, who - if you've been around here for awhile - I first posted here two years ago. That would be the first part of their discography.

This here collection spans the second part of their discography documenting the years 1997-2009, and was an edition of 500 CD's pressed for the U.S. tour.
Enjoy the chaotic battery thrown down by these longtime powerviolence / grindcore legends from the land of Fernet, hockey studs, & long-legged high-fashion models...

  3. Me again, just replying to your comment on the lack of replies on M Angel - I saw it, didn't bite - My interest in them stopped after the Blessed album, I prefer it a lot more raw than they tend to make it - But again, just letting you know that the lack of responses doesn't necessarily mean a lack of interest or appreciation, at least not for me! Keep up the kick-ass shit, I look in here / Tarpit / Deluxe multiple times each week, GREATLY appreciated!

  4. I'm not trippin' on the lack of comments on the Trey solos post, just kind of surprised that no one has commented on it, as it is pretty rare, and it is a weird little collection all on its own. It's been the source of some annoyingly good ringtones for me the past few years, ha ha.

  5. Gride is of those bands that deserves more recognition than they receive. I haven't heard tons by them but everything I have experienced blew me away and I'm sure this will continue the tradition. Thanks!

  9. Thanks for the kind words sir! I like it here at the Lo-Res...great post by the way. I just caught these guys a few months ago in L.A. and they fucking killed it. I'm sure seeing them at MDF would have been NOT STELLAR but luckily for me it was a tiny venue. Cheers

I was also happy enough to see them live, last year in Zagreb, and they really rocks.. there aren't many bands nowadays with such a great energy..
and about drumming..at that gig they had 2 bass drums in their drum set..awsome!
