The sheer violence in their sound was like a lullaby to me.
Still bummed they packed it in a while back.

Watchmaker - Kill.Fucking.Everyone.

Now playing: The Offenders - do or die

  1. great band!almost unparalleled in terms of sheer fury and violence.sorry to hear they broke up.

  2. I couldn't remember whether or not I'd ever commented on your page, so I'm doing that right now.

I really, really like the look of your blog. The colors are eye-popping and vivid, but not so much that it hurts the vision. The photoshopped band photos are another nice touch. The Oxbow pic with the jpeg artifacts pulled to the foreground is probably the one that sticks out the most in my mind at the moment.

I also snagged the Fear demos and the Oxbow record. I've yet to "figure out" Oxbow, so I'm going to give it a shot. Again.

  3. Roger C -

And thanks for the blog/visual compliments.

YOUR blog is one of my favorites, and I strive for mine to be as good as yours consistently is.

I like the writing style as well as the visual aspects of yours alot.

Not enough people take pride in what they write on their music blog these days, too many of those "I'll just grab a review from the web" kind of blogs as well as too many long-winded "I love to hear myself write" ones as well.

Maybe if I was a good writer I'd go for it, but I have a seriously short attention span most days, so I just crank out my descriptions after my U/L is finished & I've tweaked the artwork, etc.

If I think about it too much, I start to not sound like myself, and this blog is for ME more than anything else, ya know?

    Anyways, it's the after-work beer(s) talking now so I'll S.t.F.U. now.

Thanks for stopping by, & I'd be honored if you added me on your "blogs I follow" thing.

  4. Damn, forgot these guys existed. thanks for posting this.
