GG ALLIN.

Here's some early rockin' punk stuff by GG - much better than the post-prison violent drunken-junkie GG material. While you either love him or hate him, there will never be another rock star like this guy.

Rock & Roll could certainly use another TRUE psycho right about now...

IF ANYONE HAS GG ALLIN/BRIAN DOUGLAS CLEMONS - "The $20 POEM" WOULD YOU PLEASE SEND ME A LINK TO EITHER THE AUDIO OR VIDEO IF YOU HAVE IT? THANKS.

  3. Nein, couldn't find it anywhere...I DO have a good hearty cache of other GG releases, mostly bootlegs I think. I'll keep an eye out, though.

  4. nooooooo! GG Allin continuously haunts me!

when i was young i walked into Trash American Style in Danbury, CT; a place that had ties with Mr. Allin and i was unfortunate enough to catch a few moments of a video playing. i am sure you can guess the acidic taste of disgust i experienced. GG, bleeding, naked, shoving his fingers in his ass while hitting himself in the face with the mic, then grabs hold of the raised drum set and proceeds to defecate all over the stage...

    ...speechless.

  5. I lived in Ann Arbor MI from 88-92, and towards the end of, GG moved to town.
He ended going to prison there for a bit - we all know the story pretty much - and there were a ton of kids obsessing on him either way.
I had friends who loved him & friends who hated him. I enjoyed the music, the bullshit, the facade, but always felt he was, in the end, just another burning-out heroin addicted rocker.
There's lots of those in them parts.

  6. I've been bored with music lately, until I checked this site and saw the line-up on the front page. Devo, D.R.I., GG Allin, and Black Flag all in one place. Thanks for the awesome picks, especially G.G. Allin. I used to have portions of a few of his albums, but I had to delete them as part of a massive project to save the harddrive on my old computer from corrupted files.

  8. I sw an mtv style video of gg and the jabbers a while back. It was really funny. 4 teenagers walking around the streets, kicking trash cans. who knew that kicking trash cans was "gateway behavior" for pooping in public.
