More importantly though, it is (in)famous for being the breeding ground for the immensely stoned & incredibly riff-laden powerviolence / grindcore heavy weights Plutocracy.
Sinister sounds of pain, fear, and psychosis fill your ears (along with plenty of movie samples) on this must-have collection of one of the greatest PowerViolence bands that ever was.

Now, think about those last fleeting minutes when you exhaust your final breath, and you realize for a few moments more that there is no space for the sound of your agony - just complete implosion within yourself.

That is the sound of Rorschach.

A masterpiece in the melding of dissonant hardcore rhythms & atonal thrash progressions, fused together via some serious out-there alienation, courtesy of the serrated throat of Mr. Maggio.
"Protestant" will always hold its own in the annals of hardcore/powerviolence.

Hot damn there be some ass-blistering blasting coming from this San Jose Power-grindlence outfit!

While they may not be a household name to many outside the Bay Area, they most certainly lay waste to many heavyweights in the HC/Powerviolence scene.
Do yourself a favor and check this out.

Sacramento's new Kings of what-I-perceive-to-be Powerviolence just keep getting better and better. Along with the usual million-miles-an-hour battery comes some heavy groove/sludge to keep you on edge.

Why can't there be more bands like this?

This falls somewhere between INFEST and CURSED, and like those two legendary bands, this release is (too) short and sweet.
